Four New Shows Added to the Syracuse PHA Circuit Please support these new shows with your participation. Batavia Showtime I – May 26-27 Batavia Showtime II – June 22-24 Batavia Showtime I & II will be two ring shows held at Batavia Downs, Batavia, New York. Batavia Downs is located 1/2 mile from exit 48 of the New York State Thruway. Stalls will be 10x10 with Dutch doors. Camper parking is available.   Batavia Downs has installed all new footings!!!!! Classes offered include Marshall & Sterling Medals, along with Classics for Junior/Amateur Owner, Adults, Children's Horses, Ponies and Children's Ponies will be offered. Classes for Regular Hunters, Green Hunters and Jumpers are also scheduled. There are several excellent Hotels and Restaurants between the Thruway and Show Grounds. Located at the Kocher Farm in Pa. Furnace, PA the show offers multiple show rings, permanent and temporary stalls and plenty of camper parking. Classes offered include small & large Junior Hunters, older & younger Amateur Owners, older and younger Adult Hunters and older and younger Children's Hunters. All will be held over 2 days (5 class divisions) with a $500 NAL Children's and a $500 NAL Adult Hunter Classics. The Regular Pony Hunters (small, medium, large, green) will be 1-day divisions with a model class. The Children's Pony division will be held over 2 days. Medal classes include Marshall & Sterling, Ariat, Show Circuit Magazine Equitation, along with all the PHA classes. Also there is the USAF Pony Medal and the USAF medal classes (no Maclay this year unless I hear from enough people to offer the class). There is also a Beginner Rider division, Short Stirrup division, Pleasure, Hopeful, Special, Baby Green, Pre-children's and Pre-adult hunters. And lets not forget the ever popular Leadline class. The Heritage Farm show in August is new to the Syracuse circuit and is managed by Mike McGowan. Heritage Farm is also the new home of Naomi Blumenthal’s summer show now named Summer in Skaneateles.  Heritage Farm is owned by Mike McGowan and is located in the beautiful resort village of Skaneateles.  Mike is currently finishing this new show complex with more details coming soon regarding the facility and the classes that will be offered.
