SYRACUSE PHA MEETING
December 10, 2007

There was a Syracuse PHA meeting on Monday, December 10, 2007. Present at the meeting was Craig Brown, Shelly Shaulinski, Naomi Blumenthal, Andy Lomker, Kim Connie Chave, Steve Kirk, Gail Miller, Kim Montrois, Anne Pedersen, Jaime Bates, Becky Bates, Mike McGowan, PJ Tymann, Terese Bouchard, Mark Frohm, Andy Lomker, and Debbie Barmaster.

Secretary's Report :
A motion was made to accept the Secretary’s report dated September 2007. The motion was made by Kim Montrois; seconded by Steve Kirk and carried.

Treasurer's Report :
A copy is on file with the secretary. A motion was made to accept the treasurer’s report by Terese Bouchard: seconded by Becky Bates and carried. All are in favor.

Membership Report :
Janet Zimmer, Sarah Barge, Jennifer Maxson, Heather Foley, were all voted in as new professional members. All are in favor.
Tom Avery, Betty Sue Grant, Amanda Kellogg, Nancy Kohler, Chris LaBarge, Kelly Maerlender, Hans Mobius, Amy Montrois have been dropped from the Syracuse PHA professional membership list.

Rules Report :
The Baby Green Hunter Division will now read Open to horses and ponies in their first year of showing that have not shown over fences where fences exceed 2’3” Mike made the motion seconded by Gail. All are in favor.

High Point Report :
Banquet plans are set for the Ithaca banquet. The 2008 banquet will be held in Syracuse. Mike McGowan will be the host.

Election Report :
Andy Lomker, Sue Mauro, Mike McGowan, and Jaime Bates George were elected as director’s. The officers (Naomi – President, Gail – Vice President, Andy – Treasurer, Shelly – Secretary) will remain the same.


Old Business :
We received a thank you from the AHJAF for our donation to Gerry Briggs.
We received a thank you from Zone II for our donation.
We received thank you’s from most of the members that were awarded scholarships.

New Business :
Andy made a motion to send Michele Kreimeyer and Norm Carney each a check to help them out in their difficult times. PJ seconded. All are in favor.


The next meeting will be Monday March 17, 2003 at 4:00 at the Hampton Inn in Victor.
